Recognizing what one is feeling is a very important component to healing. Emotions are energy in motion! So, releasing emotions that fail to serve the person takes a sincere desire to change that energy.
Some emotions are deeply embedded and continue to surface time and again. Another key component is to replace those negative emotions with positive ones so that the body is not left with a void but is filled with positive thoughts and healing energy.
Many tools and healing modalities are available to teach how to reframe the mind and let go of negative thought patterns. Our program teaches how to do so and we use it in conjunction with reflexology and foot zoning. For example, emotional issues can be recognized through the foot during a foot zone session. Negative emotions create a stagnation in the flow of energy and can be identified as certain trigger points are felt on the foot. There are also certain "release" points on the foot that can help a person let go of the negative emotions they have identified during their zone.
Releasing negative energy and emotions helps a person's physical ailments go away and can prevent some chronic problems from coming back. Many of our physical symptoms are on a cycle triggered by our emotional/stress cycle. If you can release and change the root of the problem you change the outcome from poor health to good health.
