Here is what Catherine had to say about her experience with Foot Zoning. The thing that stood out to us was how her chocolate cravings subsided after the foot zone! "My favorite thing about a foot zone is how good I feel immediately after the session, and then how amazing I feel the next day. My body feels so good the day after! It’s like my body parts have been given a fine-tuning. I have more energy. My joints move more smoothly. I feel a little lighter, like I’ve gotten rid of problems that have been weighing me down. I was tickled to realize that my internal clock was actually more accurate as well (I do love to be accurate with time!).
"At my first footzone, I filled out a checklist and marked off all the problems I was experiencing. Some were mild, like having cold hands or feet, or having dry skin, and some problems were ones that I really wanted help with—especially my difficulty falling asleep and my daily strong cravings for chocolate. "It’s a good thing I filled out that checklist, because I looked at it again during my next footzone (about two weeks later) and was amazed at how many of my problems had disappeared! I had originally checked 9 items out of 30. After just 1 footzone, I realized that I no longer had that daily craving for chocolate. I felt so much better. "A footzone is not just a foot rub. It provides a way to access the whole body system. During one footzone, I had many triggers in my bladder area. I occasionally suffer from a UTI, and I was so grateful to realize my bladder was not healthy so that I could treat it immediately (drinking lots more water, primarily) and prevent a painful occurrence. "The footzone has also made me aware of some of my emotional issues that were ready to be resolved and healed. One emotional issue was a particular fear for my children and what they were dealing with in life. I had been stuck with that fear for a week, and it was actually causing some pain in my body. The footzone made me aware of that almost-subconscious fear. With that awareness, I was able to be more mindful in my parenting and my approach for my children. After a few days of mindful awareness, that fear disappeared! I have been able to address and resolve many of my negative emotions through footzoning, which makes my life better all around."
